Painting from the ground up Part 1 - Beginner Level 1
Welcome to the first lesson in my new series, Painting from the Ground Up. In this lesson, we'll start with a simple landscape, focusing on colour mixing, applying paint and learning to observe the colours and shapes in our reference. We'll leave the fine details and complicated techniques for later, concentrating instead on creating a convincing sense of realism using just the basics.
Each lesson in the series will start with a blank canvas, gradually introducing more detail and new techniques so you can see your skills develop as we progress. Whether you're a complete beginner or simply want to strengthen your foundations, this is a great place to start!
